Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Quidditch Season 3 Chapter 8 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you and Skye decided to have the team nurture their minds. You talked to Murphy about it over a game of wizard’s chess, after which he advised you to seek Professor McGonagall and ask her for help. You met with her in the Transfiguration classroom, and she told you that you need to pay attention to the opposing team during the match and learn to anticipate their moves. Later on, you and your teammates practiced predicting each other’s moves. In the end, you managed to improve, and now that you’ve nurtured your mind, there’s only one aspect left: the heart.

Perhaps Murphy might be able to help with that. Head to the Great Hall when you are ready to meet with him. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say. Simply tap on their speech bubbles to do so. Murphy will be surprised to see you back so soon. You’ll tell him the team managed to sharpen their minds thanks to his help.

If your team manages to achieve balance before the next house match, they will have a much higher chance of winning.

Murphy will remember that Orion told you to nurture the heart in addition to the body and mind in order to achieve balance. He’ll also provide some statistical data.

You’ll express hope that Murphy might be able to offer some guidance. However, he’ll admit that he isn’t an expert on matters of the heart, providing a detailed explanation.

You’ll stop him before he gets too carried away, and he’ll apologize, expressing his love for Quidditch. You’ll note that his passion for the sport comes from his heart. Still, he’ll be unsure if there’s anything he can do to help your teammates strengthen their hearts. You’ll suggest brainstorming some ideas over a game of wizard’s chess. Playing wizard’s chess requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Murphy and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

You’ll learn that Murphy loves Quidditch because he can learn a lot of different things.

He will say that some other players and fans don’t feel the same. He’ll be curious to know what you love the most about Quidditch. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Murphy will point out that everyone has different reasons for loving Quidditch. You’ll agree with him, suggesting that your teammates need to discover their own reasons for loving the sport. This will surely help them strengthen their hearts. Murphy will acknowledge that it won’t be an easy task. Luckily enough, Penny might be able to help you with that.

You will thank Murphy before leaving the Great Hall.

Proceed to the Courtyard when you are ready to meet with Penny. Once you arrive, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll thank Penny for agreeing to meet with you.

She’ll happily greet you and say that she enjoys talking to you.

You’ll ask if it means she also loves talking about Quidditch. She’ll nod cheerfully and say that she does. You will then tell her that you need her help and inform her about the plan to achieve balance.

Penny will ask how you and your teammates are going to strengthen your hearts. Your previous choice will take effect here.

You’ll tell her you want to help the team discover their reasons for loving Quidditch. Still, you will need to find a way to help them remember why they love this wizarding sport. Penny will say that she’s always loved Quidditch. Suddenly, Face Paint Kid will appear out of nowhere and say that he agrees with Penny.

Your Hufflepuff friend will be surprised to see him.

Face Paint Kid will wonder what the two of you have been talking about.

Face Paint Kid will tell you he is very passionate about Quidditch. Penny will ask him to help you figure out how to help the team strengthen their hearts. Gaining a new perspective requires earning five stars within one hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Face Paint Kid and your character. Focus on those if you want to save a bit of energy.

After talking for a while, you will realize that your team needs to see Quidditch through the eyes and hearts of their fans. That should hopefully help them remember why they love the sport, ultimately allowing them to strengthen their hearts.

Face Paint Kid will ask if you think painting the team’s faces would affect their playing. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer. If you like Face Paint Kid, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Shortly after, you will decide to talk to Skye and come up with a plan that could help the team strengthen their hearts. You will need to wait three hours until the practice starts. Since this chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Head to the Quidditch Pitch once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will be able to check what some of your teammates have to say. You’ll greet Skye and ask her for a moment of her time.

She’ll hope that you managed to find a way for the team to strengthen their hearts. After all, the next house match should happen fairly soon. You’ll tell her that you have some good news.

You will quickly fill her in.

You’ll tell her that you still need to figure out how to connect the team with the fans. Shortly after, Skye will gather up the team. You will tell them that they still need to nurture their hearts to achieve balance. You’ll go on and tell them about your plan to connect them with their fans.

Skye will ask everyone to come up with ideas to achieve that. Brainstorming ideas requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to your character, Skye, and your team’s Beater. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

In the end, you will figure out that the pre-match party might be the best way to connect the team with the fans, but Skye will not be too sure about it.

You will explain why attending the pre-match party is going to help the team connect with the fans.

Skye will decide to trust you on that.

Shortly after, the practice will start. For this practice, you will need to play Keeper. The task window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

As always, try your best to successfully complete all the maneuvers to earn rewards.

Once you are done with the practice, proceed to the Training Grounds to attend the pre-match party. When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on their speech bubbles. You’ll be pretty excited about the party, so you’ll approach Skye and ask if she is feeling the same.

She’ll admit that she prefers a more physical pre-match routine, and you’ll agree that a physical routine is more fitting for her. Then, she will ask you about your pre-match routine. There are two options to choose from. This choice won’t heavily influence the story, so simply be honest and pick the option that is more suited for your character.

Shortly after, you will join the party. Discovering heart with fans requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus progress actions tied to Hagrid and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

The plan will work, and your teammates will start remembering the reasons they fell in love with Quidditch.

Skye will admit that she is feeling it too. Your previous choice will take effect here.

Skye will tell you that she’s never been so excited about Quidditch since she came to Hogwarts and thank you for helping her remember the reasons she fell in love with Quidditch. With the team having strengthened their hearts, it’s time to play the house match.

You will need to wait four hours until the match begins. Since you will probably be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Quidditch Changing Room once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of your teammates and see what they have to say. You will be surprised to see Orion in the changing room and ask if he is ready to return to the team.

He will calmly say that he never left the team, but you’ll decide to be a bit more specific.

Sadly, Orion is not yet ready to play Quidditch, but he simply wants to wish the team good luck. Either way, you will be glad to see him, and he’ll express his happiness that the team managed to achieve true balance. Orion will then encourage you to enlighten the team and make it clear that they have achieved something special.

You’ll wonder how to do that, and he’ll suggest having a moment of vivification. Following that, he’ll ask if you are ready to vivify the team. There are two options to reply with. If you feel confident about it, you should pick the first option.

You’ll then get to have a moment of vivification with the team. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if you are low on energy.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Orion, your character, and the reserve Chaser. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

Both Orion and Skye will commend you for doing a great job as the team’s leader.

You will thank them for their help. Before the match starts, Orion will designate you as acting captain. You can eagerly take up the mantle or worry about the responsibility. Both these options will end up with a similar outcome, so feel free to pick either one.

Shortly after, the house match will start. The task window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

Murphy will fire up the crowd by announcing the match.

You will notice Orion and Andre cheering from the stands.

Shortly after, your opponents will fly onto the pitch.

Moments later, Murphy will announce your team.

Not long after that, the match will begin. This match is fairly similar to most of the friendlies you’ve been playing this season. Just try to focus and successfully complete the maneuvers, and you should have no trouble winning the match.

It is worth noting that some maneuvers are more difficult than the ones you’ve been practicing during friendlies. Luckily, you don’t need to complete all of the maneuvers successfully to win the match, so missing a couple of them is still okay.

Once the golden snitch is caught, Murphy will announce the winner of the match.

This will mark the end of Chapter 8 of Season 3. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 300 Coins and 30 Dragon Club Experience Points.

That surely was an exciting match. On top of that, you are now the acting captain of your team. Hopefully, with your leadership, the team will be able to win the Quidditch Cup.
