I uninstalled Panda Helper and all the apps downloaded from it (only 3 apps). I’m just worried if there are any threats left on my device (like risks of hacked etc.). I already reset the iPhone and restored it with the backup on my computer. Is there any chance that threats are in the backup (if there are any)? How do I know if my iPhone is hacked or if it has a threat?

- Settings > General > About view claims I have 97 apps, the list of apps in Settings only shows 94 apps installed?I was sent a strange link via text and opened it. I was redirected to instagram… but not immediately so im worried it loaded malware. Its not clear which apps are being counted in the “about” my phone section. Im wondering if someone can clarify where 97 is coming from versus the 94 that I know I intentionally downloaded. Also wondering if I back up my phone can I re install the operating software and use the backup without reinstalling malware…that is if there is any, I know iPhones are fairly more secure than other devices.[Re-Titled by Moderator] 1475

- Downloaded a possibly malicious configuration profileI have downloaded a configuration by mistake when browsing safari. I only downloaded it but did not install the profile. In fact, I removed the downloaded profile from settings right after I downloaded it. The phone is working just fine but still I want to know if there is a chance of my phone already being infected. Thanks! 5571

Panda Helper does NOT exist on the App Store - how did you install it to begin with?
If your backup is from BEFORE you installed this stuff, no, there are no threats from that backup
"Hacking" is HARD - and requires a skilled criminal to have possession of the device for a period of time
Is there any reason that you THINK your device has been compromised?
Make sure that you have done things right, not some 3rd party "instructions"

I installed it using the safari on my phone.
The only reason I’m worried is the fact that I downloaded it. So far there’s nothing suspicious going on my phone.

I downloaded Panda Helper (but uninstalled it immediately after learning that it might not be safe). Are there threats left on my iPhone?
