UPDATE: This Starbucks Pink Drink Copycat recipe has been updated as of 10/27/22 due to the discontinuation of the Starbucks Very Berry Hibiscus Refreshers®.

You have been missing out if you’ve never had a Pink Drink from Starbucks! According to the Starbucks website, Pink Drink is a light and refreshing beverage that features the sweet flavors of Strawberry Acai Refreshers® with accents of passion fruit and acai combined with coconut milk and topped with a scoop of strawberries.

While our “usual” is an iced caramel macchiato, sometimes you have to switch it up. Our girls have been huge fans of the pink drink since their first sip, and since going to Starbucks on a regular basis is a little out of our budget these days, we promised to come up with a Starbucks Pink Drink copycat recipe at home, to hold them over until we can get them the real thing.

According to our teen, we nailed it (and that doesn’t happen often)!

Before we get to our Starbucks Pink Drink copycat recipe, let me share a few tips about the ingredients.

strawberries: We’ve found that the best way to slice the strawberries is into semi-thin slices (at least for the 1/2 cup that will be placed in the cup. For the strawberries that you’ll be blending, it really doesn’t make a difference. I usually chop those in quarters just to make it easier to blend. BTW, they blend super fast in our Nutribullet. If you don’t have fresh strawberries, you can also use frozen or freeze-dried.

coconut milk: You want to get the coconut milk that can be found in the refrigerated section of your local grocery store. We use sweetened, vanilla-flavored coconut milk.

iced passion tea concentrate: Since Starbucks discontinued the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher packs that we used to use, we have found an alternative in Tazo Iced Passion Tea Concentrate. This one also gives the passion fruit flavor that Starbucks uses in its Pink Drink.

white grape juice: We also added white grape juice to match the ingredients on the website.

sugar: Sugar is needed to sweeten the drink up. You can try simple syrup as well, though I find that sugar works best.

We tried a number of the copycat recipes before we created our own, and while they all had a unique flavor, none were exactly the same.
